Job Description:
As an apprentice in the Reservations Department, you will play an active role in optimizing room and hotel service sales. You will efficiently and personally handle phone and written requests, ensuring a level of service that meets our corporate standards. You contribute to client satisfaction and loyalty with your service orientation, courtesy, and diplomacy.
Main Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Reservations Manager, your tasks include:
- Delivering optimal service quality in line with department goals
- Responding promptly and professionally to phone calls, qualifying each request, and providing personalized responses
- Sending client documents (requests, confirmations, contracts...) within deadlines, with careful attention to detail and form
- Offering alternatives in case of unavailability (other dates or IHG hotels)
- Updating the Virtuoso database and maintaining privileged relationships with key agents for Parisian hotels
- Participating in commercial actions (mailings, calls, campaigns) in collaboration with the External Sales Department
- Developing and tracking Prestige customer statistics
- Mastering the room offer and sales arguments in both French and English
- Knowing the competition to anticipate objections
- Staying informed about events affecting the hotel (conferences, fairs, etc.)
- Promoting other hotel services, following rate and contractual procedures (companies, agencies, etc.)
Profile:
- Student at a hotel or business school under an apprenticeship contract (12 to 24 months)
- Fluent in English
- Service and luxury oriented
- Excellent client relations
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Organized and detail-oriented
