    Job Description:

    Join our dynamic team at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand pastry kitchen! As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will contribute to the preparation of Café de la Paix signature desserts, VIP amenities, seasonal creations, and banquet desserts. Working in a modern, well-equipped environment, you’ll benefit from expert mentoring and a supportive, collaborative atmosphere to enhance your professional development.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Under the direction of the Head Pastry Chef and their assistants, your responsibilities include:

    • Preparing mise en place for smooth and efficient service
    • Ensuring proper equipment functioning and team adherence to usage standards
    • Applying and enforcing standard operating procedures (production, hygiene, safety)
    • Training team members in technical skills when needed
    • Delegating and supervising task execution
    • Keeping workstations clean and well-maintained
    • Exploring new culinary, flavor, and presentation trends

    Profile:

    • Proven experience in pastry, ideally as a tourier in a large brigade
    • Curious, team-oriented, and eager to grow
    • Solid knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations
    • Strong sense of aesthetics, innovation, and precision
    • Good cost management awareness
    • Excellent grooming and luxury-minded
    • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
    • Professional English appreciated
    • Work-life balance: straight evening shifts, 35h/week
