    Job Description:

    Café de la Paix, a landmark of Parisian gastronomy, is looking for its Maître d'Hôtel Responsible to manage its restaurant team. As the guardian of service quality and the organization of the dining room and guest reception, you will supervise all service operations in a prestigious, high-volume environment. You will drive innovation, training, and operational excellence, fully aligned with the hotel’s standards.

    Main Responsabilities:

    • Supervise all operations of the dining room and guest reception
    • Ensure smooth, fast, and courteous service for all clients
    • Monitor adherence to quality standards and procedures
    • Suggest improvements for service techniques and organization
    • Coordinate services based on specific requirements of each table
    • Contribute to optimizing sales and promoting other hotel services
    • Master the menu items and daily specials
    • Ensure service, hygiene, and safety procedures are followed
    • Offer warm, personalized guest reception
    • Represent French elegance and savoir-faire with courtesy and professionalism
    • Respect budgets and internal procedures for performance and efficiency
    • Train and evaluate team members

    Profile:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Significant experience in a high-volume restaurant (ideally a brasserie or grand restaurant)
    • Bilingual in French and English
    • Knowledge of food and wine pairing is a plus
    • Team spirit, availability, and strong leadership
    • High sense of service, luxury, and commercial flair
    • Mastery of Micros software and/or similar systems
    • Hospitality degree is a plus
