A Parisian brunch
at the Café de la Paix

Come and discover the Sunday brunch at the Café de la Paix! This generous buffet offers a range of flavours to enjoy in the magnificent decor of this Parisian institution.
All our products are carefully selected by our Executive Chef Laurent André.
Pastries, breads, eggs, bacon and fruits… all the essentials of a great breakfast are served.
For a gourmet’s delight, you can associate our farm products such as duck foie gras with our delicious selection of French cheeses.
Don’t miss the speciality of our restaurant: our oyster bar which offers seafood and shellfish.

A healthy corner is also available, where you can create your customized salad.
Explore a selection of world cuisine, Lebanese delicacies, fresh pasta, sushi and more.
And on a sweet note, our Pastry team offer all the grand classics:  profiteroles, chocolate éclairs… and of course the famous Café de la Paix “millefeuille”.
Each week, a different live cooking performance will be organized!
For our younger guests, an artistic workshop is animated by “Les ateliers de Macha”.

  • The brunch, including a glass of champagne rosé, is at 98 € per person with 50% discount for children under 12 years old and free of charge under 3.

A colourful

A ritual around the world, breakfast is more of a morning feast at the InterContinental Paris le Grand. Start your day in the unique setting of the Café de la Paix with its Second Empire decor and furnishings, beneath historical landmark frescoes!
Serve yourself at three sumptuous buffets you won’t find anywhere else in Paris. The continental and American buffet offers a wide range of sweet and savoury breakfast favourites.

Enjoy a taste of the Far East at the Japanese buffet featuring tofu, savoury raw and cooked vegetables, traditional miso soup and sautéed beef.
The Chinese buffet offers a gastronomic voyage from the famous rice soup to dim sum or fried Patangos, Baozi dumplings and Mantou bread. A festival of flavours and aromas featuring ginger, lemongrass and coriander!

The Oyster Bar

If you feel like a refreshing taste of the sea, this is the place. One look at the Oyster Bar and you almost feel the ocean breeze! Oysters, of course, – Belon de Bretagne, Isigny Taillepied, Gillardeau -, and shellfish of all kinds including lobsters, langoustines, clams and dog cockles are meticulously displayed.
At the helm, you will find Arezki Ounissi. Passionate about the sea, he defends the highest quality shellfish and was crowned Best European Shucker in 2016. His magnificent platters are both gorgeous and deliciously good.

Tea time!

After a hectic week – visits, shopping or meetings- every day embark on a culinary break.How better to spend an afternoon than warming up with a cup of tea and a little something sweet?Welcome to La Verrière, a winter garden in the hotel, the ideal venue for a cosy tea time. Warm yourself with a hot drink and one of our delicious pastries: millefeuilles, éclairs or an original pumpkin and chestnut creation. If you feel like a savoury treat, you can choose from our selection of sandwiches (foie gras, salmon, poultry, cucumber and cheese).

  • Three tea menus are available:
    Hot drink and pastry, 22€
