Bar near the Paris Opera House
As soon as you enter the bar, you will feel the typically British spirit, full of warmth and intimacy. The Grand Hôtel bar, one of the first in Europe, nurtures this elegant, hushed and cosy atmosphere, with its Chesterfield leather armchairs blending seamlessly with the deep mahogany, the discreet lighting, and plush upholstered sofas that are an invitation to relax and unwind.
It is also here that Franck Newman, head bartender of the Grand Hôtel in 1904, created the Original dry Martini, paying tribute to Sarah Bernhardt, who was a big fan of this cocktail.
