Job Description:
Join the pastry team at InterContinental Paris Le Grand and participate in creating the Signature desserts at Café de la Paix, working within an experienced and dynamic team. As Demi Chef de Partie Pastry, you will play a key role in producing and serving high-quality pastries, supported by modern tools and a work environment conducive to learning and development.
Main Responsabilities:
• Ensure mise en place for smooth and high-quality service
• Assist in producing desserts for the evening service
• Strictly adhere to hygiene and safety standards
• Implement production procedures and share new practices with colleagues
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of workstations
• Contribute ideas on new taste and decoration trends, and assist in exploring new techniques
Profile:
• Significant experience in a large brigade, ideally in pastry
• Dynamic, team-oriented, and willing to share knowledge
• Curious about new pastry techniques, both taste-wise and in decoration
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
• Attention to detail and a sense of luxury
• Available to work exclusively on evening shifts
